Kerri & Clay at Highland Springs Resort

What a fun way to spend my 49th birthday! I'm sure you've heard me say I love weddings but to be able to work one on the last Fourtieth birthday of my life was amazing!  Kerri had so many fun details that she brought to the table that it's hard to know where to start!  First of all, the venue Highland Springs Resort in Cherry Valley California is a perfect place for a  wedding. The beauty of nature brings such a lovely element to the ceremony, and then the Vintage rustic dining room for the reception... perfection!  Suthi of Picotte Photography captured the feel of the day....so sit back and take in a moment of Kerri & Clay's wonderful wedding...... wait! first grab a cup of coffee or a glass of wine.... ok...much better..... enjoy!

The olive grove is a magical place....

A welcome sign for all loved ones and guests

Guest were welcomed with a sign and some refreshing beverages

A wreath was placed on Kerri's mothers chair ... what a precious memorial

The short strapless green dresses with a gray sash were perfect for this natural beauty inspired wedding

The Ceremony was held on the Festival Lawn at Highland Springs resort. The pace is so beautiful not much was needed for decorating it but the white flowers added just the right feel!

A few detail shots of the paper pennant straws, a word game and the individual mason jar candle favors

Love the stand alone miniature pennants next to the cake, so cute.
The Ram skull above the cake area adds a rustic element you don't find too often at weddings!

The white and green with the wood chairs equals rustic elegance!

Rusty old farm machinery added a neat texture to the white bridal bouquet

Such a great wedding! Congratulations Kerri & Clay!!

  1. Thanks for the post Barra! And THANK YOU for all your help leading up to, and on the day of the wedding. Having you there really allowed me to fully enjoy the day and not worry about the details. I love looking at the pictures and reliving the day!

    1. Kerri,
Was your wedding day cold? I'm trying to decide between Aug 16 and Nov 1? Cannot decide and I want it all outdoor but I can always bring in heaters.
      Thanks

  2. Kerri,
Your family was, by far, our favorite of the year. You all were a joy to have at the resort and your wedding was a feast for the eyes! Every detail was lovely. Congratulations again!
